Summer, Where art thou?

Ughhhhhhh. So after receiving my midterm grades, I'm making a pact with myself:

I WILL GET STRAIGHT A'S THIS SEMESTER.

I know, good right?

Hey I wanna get into University of Toronto, so I have to pull out the big guns.

But mostly, the main idea that I've been obsessing about is SUMMER. Today in CT, we got unexpected snow showers throughout the day making it miserable for those who could live without the cold (this is where I raise my hand).

It's not that I absolutely detest snow, I just get excited about that stuff when it's Christmas and when I go snowboarding.

Pooh.

But I want summer: the beach, cute boys/flings, tanning in the warm sun, ice cream, skirts, shorts, etc, etc, etc.I can't wait! Anything you lovelies are looking forward too?

Rob Marshall's new on screen thespian feast, NINE, is getting remarkable praise for a reason.

My mom and I spent a lovely Saturday evening watching this last night, and went gaga over the costumes, dancing, singing, colors, story, acting, EVERYTHING.

I loved seeing Daniel Day-Lewis act, so talented, and my mom and I have had a crush on him since we saw him running throughout the forests in Last of the Mohicans.

His Italian accent is to die for!

The ladies did excellent as well, especially Kate Hudson and Penelope Cruz, my two favorites!

Gotta go see this!

Off to make eggs and homemade waffles.

So today was the first day back in the daily grind, and I must say, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be: my teachers were lovely, many assignments/tests have been pushed, and I didn't fall asleep in 1st period.

With earl grey tea simmering next to me, and my warm sweats on, this has to be the best Monday the history of, well, ever.

1 Year Anniversary

Hello Lovely Readers,

It's been a year since I created this little blog and I have to say: it's a little frightening that I only have 50 or so posts that I've written this whole year.

MAJOR NOTE: More posts. Simple, to the point, and this could be construed as the blog's first new year's resolution.

So in the world of me and life, I've certainly decided to become more fearless: in my non existent love life, school, academy, and sense of self.

In other news, this whole fall and winter seasons were spent taking little trips to NYC as much as I could, drinking pumpkin spice lattes, killing myself over my AP classes...blahblahblah...

Now on to the good stuff:

1. Lying in bed during vacation, while munching on truffles and watching old episodes of The City, I am proud to say that I've rekindled my adoration over Whitney Port and Erin Lucas. They're just absolutely stunning on the outside with their killer style, as well as on the inside, which I deeply admire. So basically they're what I aspire to be once I make a humble abode in the West Village.

2. I am IN LOVE! With mixing kind of New England-esque essentials with more trendy and hipster pieces, either to go shopping or a night on the town.

3. Penn Badgley in VMAN September issue: I love this photo of him, he just exudes the dark and handsome mysteriousness that makes me weak in the knees. I smell new male obsession.

5. Madewell: A heavenly beacon to my perfect style. Now how do we, due to the alarming prices of my must have fashion finds, make a little wiggle room in the wallet to afford the store's eye candy?
